Kristin is a writer from New England who currently lives in Florida. She is a reader for CRAFT and a mentor with Girls Write Now. She teaches creative writing with a focus on writing competitions, and her students' work has been recognized by Scholastic, the New York Times, Write the World, and elsewhere. She previously served as a contributing editor to The Seventh Wave.
Kristin holds an MFA in creative writing from Florida International University, where she was the managing editor of Gulf Stream Magazine. Her writing has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Lunch Ticket, Saw Palm, Cathexis Northwest, Voices From the Attic, and elsewhere, and is forthcoming in an anthology by Purple Ink Press.
She has received fellowships from Bread Loaf Writers' Conference and South Chatham Writers' Workshop.
